The Workshop

The Maker

I'm Wazowski, the maker behind Muddy River Workshop. The work comes out of the South Carolina Lowcountry, along the Edisto River—the muddy river the name is rooted in.

My goal is to build heirloom-quality wood accessories for the dry-herb community: trays, organizers, and custom pieces designed to enrich the experience of Phyto inhalation through thoughtful design and lasting craftsmanship. The goal has never been to make disposable accessories. It's to create pieces that become part of the experience itself—objects that earn their place through years of daily use and age gracefully alongside the people who own them.

The Craft

Most pieces begin as rough lumber and are shaped through a combination of traditional woodworking and modern CNC precision. The technology serves the craft, not the other way around. I love using traditional hand tools and the efficiency of modern power tools

Every species of wood carries its own character. Every board tells a slightly different story. No two pieces are exactly alike, and that's exactly the point. In a world increasingly filled with disposable products, Muddy River Workshop is built around a different idea: create fewer things, and make them worth keeping.

The Craft

Built Around You

The best accessory isn't the one sitting on a store shelf. It's the one built around your setup, your devices, and the way you actually use them. That's why the shop offers both ready-to-ship work and custom commissions. Whether you're looking for a simple tray or a fully custom layout designed around specific accessories, every project begins with the same question:

What would make this experience better? Southern Roots. Elevated Design. -Wazowski
